DOCU-MONDAYS online: A series of Czech documentaries online (June 1-June 29)

The Czech Centres in collaboration with VOD platform Dafilms present a series of Czech documentaries screened online for free in June.

On five consecutive Mondays you will be able to watch selected Czech documentaries at 7 p.m. CEST on www.dafilms.com followed by discussions with filmmakers and other special guests at 8.30 p.m. CEST (alternatively at 9 p.m. according the film length) on ZOOM.

The series starts off on 1 June with the screening of Trabant: There and Back and Q&A with the director Dan Přibáň. The following Mondays you will see My Name is Hungry Buffallo followed by Q&A with producer Radim Procházka on 8 June, Central Bus Station and Q&A with director Tomáš Elšík on 15 June, and The Gospel According to Brabenec followed by Q&A with director Miroslav Janek on 22 June. The fifth and last DocuMonday will take place on Monday 29th of June with the movie Viva Video, Video Viva directed by Adéla Komrzý.

The project has been developed in collaboration with VOD platform Dafilms, an international VOD platform specialising in European documentary and experimental films.
