420PEOPLE is a merging of artists that insist on high performance standards and professionalism but still incorporate playfulness and daring in the contemporary dance vocabulary they bring to the stage, their view of improvisation as part of the dance works, and thein unorthodox dialogue with audiences in the form of discusses held right after the performance. At the centre of 420PEOPLE are Václav Kuneš and Nataša Novotná and their artistic vision and ongoing efforts to create a company that can bear the label Made By Czechs but still resonates with international dance arts. 420PEOPLE receives the support of the BNP Paribas Foundation for the development of its projects since 2009.

Divadelní svět Brno / Theatre World Brno
Program conception of the Theatre World is always based on the understanding of the theatre "as a place and image of a civil society and theatre as both an aesthetic and ethic phenomenon”. In this sense, each year of the festival is dedicated, in its basic dramaturgy line, to a prominent figure of contemporary world theatre, to an author whose life is an organic combination of his civil attitude and his art work and whose work has both an aesthetic and ethic world dimension. After the opening round of the festival that was held last year and was dedicated to the dramatic work of Václav Havel, Sir Peter Brook was chosen this year’s personality.
Divadlo bratří Formanů / The Forman Brothers Theatre
The Forman Brothers Theatre is a living community without a permanent stage and a complete ensemble, a community tied together by a close view of work and of style of living too. A community of theatrical nomads who relish the charm of journey and travels. Motion, playing, meeting and independence bring them to settings that are often untheatrical but provoking by their atmosphere, history, inner strength. A new team is assembled for every project and each time it creates a slightly different, original charge, its own atmosphere which is necessary for finding the appropriate dramatic form.
Karromato’s marionette spectacles have delighted audiences in more than 30 countries across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. The company draws on the classic traditions of European marionette theater; all its productions speak directly to the heart without words, using music, universal humor, and the unique personality of each and every hand-crafted marionette.

Struny podzimu / Strings of Autumn - The International Music Festival
It is no exaggeration to say that, in the 15 years since its inauguration, the Strings of Autumn festival has changed the cultural landscape of Prague. In the past decade and a half, the festival has brought listeners a string of world-class performers, most of whom have never before appeared in the Czech Republic, and if not for Strings, probably never would. With its alchemic eclecticism and willingness to ignore the barriers so often placed between musical genres, the festival is a crowd-pleaser every time.
