Israeli architect of Czech House Jerusalem was awarded

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Tomáš Petříček, awarded Israeli architect Buki Zuker in the Czernin Palace. Minister Petricek thanked him for his help in realizing the Czech House Jerusalem, which was officially opened on November 27, 2018 by the President of the Czech Republic, Milos Zeman.

Buki Zuker, a renowned Israeli architect ,born November 6, 1943. In 1968, he graduated from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem. In 1971 he established his own architectural studio Buki Zuker Designers and Architects Ltd. which has designed dozens of buildings and interiors not only in Israel but also in Poland, Romania, Spain, the Netherlands, Nigeria, Morocco or North America. In last few years he coopereted with Czech company LASVIT.

His name appeared in the world's media for the first time in the 60s, because of saving rare monuments in Florence, Italy, affected by devastating floods.
