June - August 2009

Jaroslav Seifert is the first Czech to win the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1984.

Jaroslav Seifert in Poems on the Underground will be launched on 4 June 2009, 3 pm, Westminster Tube Station

Since London's Poems on the Underground were launched in 1986, the idea of putting poems on public transport has spread to cities across Europe and beyond. The anthology of Poems on the Underground, frequently updated, has been a runaway best seller.
